About

I am a registered psychologist practicing in the counselling psychology scope. Whilst working at Anxiety New Zealand Trust I gained extensive experience working with anxiety presentations including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, OCD, social anxiety and panic disorder. Since undertaking further training and supervision with Ben Sedly, I now specialise is treating OCD with Exposure Response Prevention therapy.

I also enjoy working with clients undergoing life transitions at any life stage. I work with adolescents starting from the age of 13. My previous work experience in theatre and community project work, have given me the skills to connect with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures. As a mother of two adolecent children, I am also very familiar with the pressures of juggling work, studies and family life.

In addition to one-on-one sessions, I facilitate group sessions and workshops. When doing group work with communities and corporates, I teach self-compassion and mindfulness techniques, so that participants can use these to better manage everyday stressors.
